TENNIS COORDINATOR

In 2020 about 100 learners are taking part in tennis. During the first quarter, four tennis teams, both boys and girls, were entered into the league. We also entered 2 mixed teams. Our first tennis and U/11A boys’ teams did very well and were unbeaten during term one.
During term one, learners were also offered the opportunity to improve through free tennis clinics that took place on Fridays for the Foundation Phase learners.
Handri Westman and her team of coaches also help to maintain our standard with their wonderful coaching.
Congratulations to the folllowing learners who represented WP during 2020:

- Jano van Deventer
This year (2021) our 1st team boys participated in the Rising Star tournament. Our boys did excellent in the first round and made it through to the District rounds but unfortunately the tournament was cut short due to covid.
We are very proud of these boys and we hope to see them in action one last time before the end of the year.
