In Grade R, the curriculum provides for the incorporation of sporting skills through private coaching specialists.

In doing so we are laying the foundation for our learner's sporting futures. These specialists also assist in the development of skills in sporting activities for learners in Grade 1 to 3 through means of weekly training clinics.

Our extracurricular activities for Grade R learners are the following: 

Wintersport:

• Hockey
• Rugby
• Netball

Summersport: 

• Tennis
• Cricket
• Athletics

The practice times are Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:45-11:45. 

Learners are also exposed to the basic techniques for preparing for sports participation in Grade 1. Mass participation takes place at Grade R and the staff must show good planning to accommodate everyone.
